Hello, Ravalora’t community! This past Wednesday, we escaped from the routine and headed to Barceloneta beach. There must be some advantage to being a coworking space near the beach, right?

The AECV together with Espai de Mar, organized a team building day that part of the Ravalora’t Coworking team joined in on. It was a success! Not only was it a perfect break to recharge our batteries, but it also helped us connect in a super fun and different way.

Why do we love Team Building Days?
Here at Ravalora’t, more than just offering you a space to work, we want you to feel part of a vibrant community. And what better way to do it than spending a day on the beach, playing, laughing… and strengthening ties with your coworking colleagues and with the people from l’Associació Esportiva Ciutat Vella and Espai de mar.

What did we do?
Well, we threw ourselves into enjoying the afternoon sun and the sea with some super fun activities:

Beach Volleyball
Nothing says “teamwork” like a good game of Beach Volleyball! Between serves and throws, we improved our communication and coordination, and yes, we also had a good laugh with each play.

Paddle Surf
For those who dared to try something a little more challenging, Paddle Surf was the star. It’s a sport that teaches you a lot about keeping your balance (literally and figuratively!) and about how to get up after falling. Plus, cheering on your teammates while they try not to fall is priceless!

And since we had built up an appetite, on our way back to the office we were grateful that the Associació Esportiva Ciutat Vella had prepared a snack for dinner, drinks, games, dancing and laughing that lasted prudently (the next day, we had to work).

Why do we love this?
Organizing and participating in these events has a multitude of advantages:

– Improved communication: Being out of the office and doing something fun together breaks any ice and helps everyone to be more open.
– Boost morale: Days like this make everyone return to work with a smile and a lot of positive energy.
– Awaken creativity: Changing the scene and trying new things opens the mind to fresh ideas.
– Strengthen the team: Sharing these experiences unites us and creates memories that accompany us in our daily work.
