Origin of the data

The data that AECV knows about you comes either from you, because you have provided it to us, or from an entity or company that, by virtue of a contract with it, provides you with one or several services derived from which we need to have access to your data.

The data that AECV can get to know about you, as the case may be (indicative but non-limiting examples):

Purposes of the treatment

The purposes of the treatment are, depending on the case and the type of interested party:

– Management and maintenance of the contractual relationship that unites it with AECV.

– Management of customer and/or subscriber registrations.

– Provide contracted services, either by you or through a third party.

– Improve the services offered and their quality.

– Improve and maintain our website.

– Sending satisfaction surveys.

– Complying with tax, labor, accounting, fiscal and other legal obligations applicable to the entity.

– Use of the image for advertising and commercial purposes (if consented).

– Commercial and promotional communications.

– Management of recruitments and vacancies of the association.

– Maintenance of updated deletion lists to avoid being contacted if so requested.

In those cases where AECV wishes to use your data for two or more purposes, you will have the possibility to accept all, some or one of them. If you do not accept them all, AECV will not be able to use your data for the purpose(s) not accepted.

Additionally, AECV  does not make automated decisions  that affect you legally or in a significantly similar manner with your data. However, it is possible to create profiles according to what is contracted, what is consented to, etc… but that in no case involves the making of automated decisions.

Legal basis

The legal basis of the treatment is, depending on the case:

– The contractual relationship that unites us,

– Your consent.

If you do not give your consent for one, several or all of the purposes for which your consent is requested, this will not affect the eventual existing contract between us.

– The legitimate interest of AECV, both commercial and for security purposes (cameras in the facilities). In relation to staff, cameras can also be used as a business control tool.

– Obligations that apply to AECV (in labor and/or tax matters).

You are free to provide the data requested in the different forms and/or contracts of the entity. However, please be informed that if you do not provide them, as they are essential to contact you and/or formalize a contract/registration with us, AECV will not be able to use your data for said purposes and, therefore, will not be able to provide response to your requests and/or will be able to manage your registration or contracted service.

Additionally, the mandatory fields, usually marked with an asterisk (*) in the forms that the user must fill in on the web are strictly necessary to attend to your request; the inclusion of data in the remaining fields is voluntary.
The user guarantees that the personal data provided to AECV are true and is responsible for communicating any changes.

Categories of data recipients

The only recipients of your data will be the association, AECV, and the third-party suppliers with whom it has formalized a service contract (for example, management companies, event suppliers, etc…) that require knowing your data. Additionally, by contractual imperative, AECV has the obligation to transfer its data to the Barcelona Sports Institute (and AECV is not responsible for the processing of the data).

Eventually, the public and/or judicial authorities who so require us in the exercise of their functions may also have access to your data.

International data transfer

It does not plan to carry out data transfers outside the European Union except for those that you accept on a timely basis.

However, with reference to AECV staff if an international transfer of data to the company WhatsApp, Inc. is planned. by virtue of Adequacy Decision 2016/1260, of July 12 whenever and wherever they consent.

Data retention period

Your data will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected. In your case, as long as our contractual relationship lasts and/or our legitimate commercial interest, unless you withdraw your consent earlier or exercise some of the rights granted to you by current legislation in this matter (right to object to treatment, the right to limit treatment or the right to delete data, among others), and subsequently, properly blocked, only to respond to any requests from a competent authority.


– You have the right to information, access to data, rectification of data, limitation of treatment,  opposition , deletion and portability of data, as well as not to be subjected to automated decisions without your consent.

– In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent when you wish, without this affecting the treatment carried out up to that point.
