And so time flies, exactly one year ago, on May 22, 2024, we opened Ravalora’t, a social coworking space in the heart of Raval. An initiative of the Associació Esportiva Ciutat Vella, which has been promoting sports culture as an educational and social cohesion tool since 1986, to build a better and fairer society by providing opportunities to people equitably according to their needs.
The project emerged from these foundations, with a renewed vision of helping and empowering the neighbourhood’s businesses, associations, and self-employed individuals to fulfil their potential and maximize their positive impact on society. And at the same time, it aims to be a gateway for expats and digital nomads to connect and integrate into our city, forming connections and experiences with locals.
It has been an incredible year of supporting entrepreneurs, remote teams, and small businesses with flexible workspaces, inspiring events, and meaningful connections. Full of experiences and lessons, where we’ve grown as an association and as individuals, and we’ve carved out our corner in the Raval.
